Our Story

A dream of gemstones, realised in Calicut.

Kiora Amorez began with one man's lifelong attraction to gemstones. For founder Abdul Kareem — Chairman, Managing Director, and self-described collector of all things rare, beautiful and precious — the house was the realisation of a long-held dream: to build a home of luxury on the Malabar coast that could stand beside any in the world.

Within three years of opening, Kiora Amorez had grown into a name synonymous with diamond and luxury jewellery in South India — a fusion of fashion and modernity, tradition and edge. Today the house curates finely crafted diamonds, polki, kundan, and rare coloured stones sourced from around the world.

It is, as we like to say, where beauty meets intention. Elegance is not loud. It is felt.

The Founders

Two visions, one house.

Abdul Kareem — Chairman & Managing Director, jewellery connoisseur. His eye for the rare, and his refusal to compromise, set the standard every piece is measured against.

Fajeena Karim — Chief Evangelist and brand owner. She defines beauty as the convergence of inner soul and outer body in sync, and gently encourages our patrons to make bold, joyful choices with their jewellery.

Together they built a house where craftsmanship and feeling are given equal weight — where a stone is chosen as much for the emotion it carries as for its fire.

Our flagship boutique at Calicut Beach is composed as three distinct experiences: a showroom for discovery, a lounge to sit and consider, and a private viewing room for the pieces that matter most.

Gold interiors. Natural stone flooring. A wooden ceiling and opulent wall panels under soft, ambient light. Bespoke furniture throughout. It is a space designed to make choosing jewellery feel like the occasion it is — and it has twice been recognised, at State and National level, as the best retail space in India.
